I am passionate about sharing what I've learned with others and feel very comfortable speaking to large groups. The best way to impact dentistry in a big way is for us to gather together. My mission is to create a generational shift so that people are no longer afraid of going to the dentist and ultimately their children aren't either. When people can understand what they need and why they need it, are greeted with respect in a comfortable environment, they will say yes to their dentistry. Potential topics include: Inspirational Keynote about how Dentistry found Dawn and life lessons learned along the way. How shame and fear can hold you back from pursuing your dreams and resilience in the face of it can change your life's direction for the better. Inspirational Keynote about Children's Mental Health, inspired by Dawn's daughter's childhood experiences, leading to Dawn publishing a children's book in 2024. Her book "Go Away Ick" appears to be just a colorful children's book on the outside, but it's actually a tool for parents and providers to encourage children to talk about their feelings. Patient Focused Topics: The Science of Decision Making: How to get a YES and increase treatment plan acceptance in your practice using Robert Cialdini's concept of "PRE-suasion". The Power of Storytelling: If patients can see themselves in your personal story, they will feel a stronger sense of connection to you and your practice. Learn how to use storytelling to connect with your patient's emotions so they will trust you more and say yes to their dentistry. Referral Focused Topics: How to create engaging lunch-and-learns for your referring practices: Use LNL as a tool for increasing high quality referrals that convert to new patients.
